Maggie’s Cove

The Beat extends from the Eastern Boundary with The Firbush Field Centre to the March with Camusurich Beat at The Breaclaich Burn. Due to the precipitous shoreline much of this beat is deemed an Exclusion Zone for Safety Reasons. Access to Fishing is at the Eastern section to the West of The Breaclaich Burn. Rules are clearly stated on the Permit.

There is a dedicated Parking area.

Camusurich Fishing

The Fishing Access extends from the West Boundary with Maggie’s Cove, to the Eastern end of second field of the Tree Plantation. Access is by way of the Metal side gate through the plantation, taking care of drainage ditches, to the shore. Following the shore to the East gives access to the second part of the beat. Detailed advice on access will be given by the Agent.

Roadside Verge Parking.

The remainder of the area is divided into two parts by Private Property. From the Planted area to the Metal Gate West of the House known as ‘Fiddler’s Bay’ is an area of Natural Woodland and as such is an EXCLUSION ZONE. No access is permitted to fish or for any other purpose.

The Eastern Boundary of the land belonging to ‘Fiddler’s Bay to the Eastern Boundary at Camusurich Farm House is also an EXCLUSION ZONE with two other Properties know as ‘Harbour Lights’ and ‘Benula, for reasons of Privacy.

Fiddler’s Bay

The beat is situated at the corner known to Salmon Anglers as “The Fat Man”

The Private Dwelling Garage and outhouses etc along with the immediate ground is Private and hence an Exclusion Zone with CCTV monitoring. The Beat Fishing is on the Eastern part of the land to the March with ‘Harbour Lights’.
