Some access may be restricted to rods if water levels are very low, and during dry spells access may be closed. Other work programmes or sporting activities may also result in some access being restricted. Visitors are advised to check with sale outlets before setting out. Please note there are exclusion zones for reasons of privacy and safety and where the location is of special interest. (SSSI)

East Loch Tay from the Lawers Burn on the North shore, the Manse Burn Ardeonaig on the South shore, to 100 metres above the Kenmore Bridge.
The available fishing is for Brown Trout, Pike and Perch. Escapes of Rainbow Trout occur into the loch from the trout farm at Acharn.
There are some Riparian Owners who control their own fishing and care should be taken in ensuring that the right permits are obtained by stating at the sale points where you intend to fish.
