The top end of the Stronuich Reservoir is perhaps the best area to fish during the early part of the season. The close proximity of a small wood provides for the opportunity of extra natural fly hatches through out the season. Care must be taken during wet weather since the small feeder streams flood and the resulting wet banks can be unstable. Good Brown Trout averaging three quarters of a pound are about the average catch. Permits from the Keeper's Cottage.
