The headwaters of the River Lochay are all within Kenknock Estate, and can produce good Brown Trout. Care must be taken when other sporting activities are in progress and pay attention to signs and the Exclusion Zone either side of the Upper Falls. There is little restriction on the banks and wading in the clear gravel bottom is one way to enjoy the fishing and the scenery. This is also a spawning area so barbless hooks are advised to safely unhook and return small fry. The Brown Trout tend to be solid and averaging 12 to 14 ozs but some big fish have been taken. Killin Breadalbane Angling Club Permits apply.
